Betaine HCl & Pepsin is a digestive support supplement that contains HCl as betaine hydrochloride and pepsin. Pepsin is required to breakdown and digest dietary protein. HCL is required to breakdown protein, as well as other foods that enter the stomach. Adequate levels of HCI are required for the absorption of minerals such as iron, calcium and zinc.
